Turner Sports will bring the excitement and intensity of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs presented by GEICO to its networks for the first time ever, starting with two doubleheaders on TNT and TBS on Thursday, May 5:

  • Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Rangers, Game 2 at 7 p.m. ET on TNT
  • Washington Capitals vs. Florida Panthers, Game 2 at 7:30 p.m. on TBS
  • Nashville Predators vs. Colorado Avalanche, Game 2 at 9:30 p.m. on TNT
  • Dallas Stars vs. Calgary Flames, Game 2 at 10 p.m. on TBS

Coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an extended NHL on TNT Face Off Presented by Verizon pregame show featuring host Liam McHugh joined in the state-of-the-art NHL on TNT studio by Wayne Gretzky, three-time Stanley Cup Champion Rick Tocchet, 10-year NHL veteran Anson Carter and hockey personality and former AHL & NHL veteran Paul Bissonnette.

 

The studio team will also provide analysis and insights between periods during the Lexus First Intermission Report and the Discover Second Intermission Report, and the NHL on TNT Post Game Show presented by Buick.

NHL on TNT’s Inaugural Regular Season Delivers Significant Viewership Gains

NHL on TNT wrapped up its 2021-22 NHL regular season live game coverage with viewership gains, +29% vs. 2020-21 NHL regular season games on cable and +24% vs. 2019-20. Female viewership for NHL on TNT was up 56% vs. 2020-21 NHL regular season games on cable.
