This week’s episode features the following segments:

  • Ben & Jerry’s co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, famed ice cream innovators and pioneers in corporate activism, speak with Axios political reporter Alexi McCammond at Ben & Jerry’s Vermont factory. They discuss the company’s long history of social and political activism, the recent decision to end ice cream sales in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories and what impact that decision is having on the brand.
  • Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky is joined by Axios co-founder Mike Allen at one of the company’s rentals, a treehouse and horse farm outside of San Francisco, to discuss the future of travel. Their wide-ranging conversation touches on recent safety concerns and the looming EU regulations.
  • Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh speaks with Axios business reporter Dan Primack, just after the release of the September jobs report, about the future of the American labor market and the implications of lower-than-expected jobs numbers.

AXIOS is a co-production of HBO Documentary Films, AXIOS and DCTV; executive produced by Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen & Roy Schwartz; directed and produced by Perri Peltz and Matthew O’Neill.
