NBA All Star Lineup on TNT

Turner Sports’ portfolio of premium content brands and platforms will once again serve as the destination to see the NBA’s best and brightest during NBA All-Star 2021 in Atlanta. TNT’s exclusive NBA All-Star coverage on Sunday, March 7, will begin at 5 p.m. ET with TNT NBA Tip-Off presented by CarMax featuring a studio team of Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade. The Taco Bell® Skills Challenge and MTN DEW® 3-Point Contest will follow, starting at 6:30 p.m. 

The NBA’s marquee players including Luka Dončić, Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, and Joel Embiid will take center stage as TNT presents coverage of the 70th NBA All-Star Game presented by KiaTeam LeBron [James] vs. Team [Kevin] Durant – beginning at 8 p.m., with play-by-play by Marv Albert, calling his 25th NBA All-Star game alongside analysts Reggie Miller and Chris Webber and reporter Allie LaForce. AT&T Slam Dunk will take place at halftime.

Participants for Taco Bell® Skills Challenge, MTN DEW® 3-Point Contest and AT&T Slam Dunk will be announced on TNT tonight, March 2, at 7 p.m. TNT’s expansive coverage of all NBA All-Star events will be simulcast on TBS, also beginning at 5 p.m.

As a companion experience to TNT’s coverage, #NBATwitterLive will provide an isolated camera view focused on one All-Star throughout the second half, with host Taylor Rooks, commentators Channing Frye and Candace Parker, and in-arena correspondent Alexis Morgan.  The selected player will be voted on by fans through a poll from @NBA during the first half of the game and the feed will be available via the @NBAonTNT Twitter handle.

NBA All-Star Draft Show presented by Nike
NBA on TNT will present the NBA All-Star Draft Show presented by Nike on Thursday, March 4, at 8 p.m.  The studio team of Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Dwyane Wade will be joined by team captains LeBron James and Kevin Durant as they select from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves from each conference. That will lead into a condensed TNT NBA Tip-Off presented by CarMax pre-game at 8:30 p.m. Game coverage will follow at 8:45 p.m. as Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat take on Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans, with Brian Anderson and Grant Hill providing commentary.

 

The Inside Story

The Inside Story Four-Part Docuseries
Inside the NBA – the Sports Emmy Award-winning studio show known for its entertaining style and unfiltered commentary – pulls back the curtain on its more than 30-year history with The Inside Story,” a four-part documentary series presented by Kia that will air on consecutive nights Thursday, March 4, through Sunday, March 7, on TNT. The first episode will air immediately following NBA on TNT's coverage of the Heat/Pelicans matchup, with the final episode featured on TNT immediately following the conclusion of the NBA All-Star Game. For more on The Inside Story, fans can visit the interactive site to get a behind-the-scenes look through photos and videos from the last 30 years in Studio J.

In celebration of the premiere of The Inside Story, Kenny Smith will join Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley on Thursday’s episode of The Steam Room. The fan-favorite podcast will also release a bonus episode Friday featuring Johnson and Inside the NBA Executive Producer Tim Kiely discussing the history of the iconic studio show.

B/R Open Run Presented by Modelo will bring together hip-hop stars competing in a first-of-its-kind, 2x2 matchup when chart-topping artists Quavo and Jack Harlow team up against 2 Chainz and Lil Baby in a competitive game to 21. B/R Open Run will be hosted by Taylor Rooks, Adam Lekfoe and Supreme Dreams with music spun by DJ Kitty Cash and will live stream Saturday, March 6, at 8 p.m., exclusively on the B/R app and in partnership with Twitter via @BleacherReport.

House of Highlights Showdown: Knockout Royale
House of Highlights Showdown: Knockout Royale will tip off the weekend Friday, March 5, at 8 p.m., live streaming exclusively on the House of Highlights YouTube channel. The event will feature eight top social media creators playing head-to-head in a game of ‘Knockout’ with $100K on the line. The lineup will include Mark Phillips, Matthew Meagher, Kenny Beecham, Din Muktar, Duke Dennis, Jenna Bandy, Jack Settleman and Desmond Johnson, with the event hosted by House of Highlights’ breakout talent duo The Broadcast Boys, who will be courtside leading the live stream, sharing commentary and interviewing the participants.

NBA TV Open Court

NBA TV Highlighted by Special Edition of Open Court
NBA TV will provide a wide range of programming for NBA All-Star 2021 including live media availability coverage, studio analysis and original programming. The network will also premiere Open Court: HBCU Alumni featuring a roundtable conversation with Rick Mahorn, Ben Wallace, Avery Johnson and Kyle Quinn, hosted by Stephanie Ready on Saturday, March 6, at 6 p.m. Later at 9 p.m., a special Film Room: The Doctor & The Human Highlight Film will air featuring Kenny Smith, Dr. J and Dominique Wilkins.

NBA on TNT Regular Season Action
TNT’s NBA regular season coverage will include a compelling doubleheader heading into the All-Star break, featuring teams vying for playoff positioning – Clippers/Celtics and Suns/Lakers Tuesday, March 2. The night’s programming lineup will begin at 7:30 p.m. with TNT NBA Tip-Off presented by CarMax. Ian Eagle and Grant Hill will provide game commentary for Clippers/Celtics, while Brian Anderson and Jim Jackson will be on the call for Suns/Lakers.

TNT Overtime
TNT Overtime will continue to offer fans a unique video companion experience throughout NBA All-Star 2021. Live streaming of NBA All-Star coverage airing on TNT will also be available via www.tntdrama.com/watchtnt and the Watch TNT app. Additionally, for the first time this season, NBA on TNT games will be incorporated into the B/R app. Fans are able to access the content whenever and wherever they desire by logging in with the username and password provided by their TV service provider.
