  • Logline: The Untitled Jean Smart comedy series explores a dark mentorship that forms between Deborah Vance (Jean Smart), a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and an entitled, outcast 25-year-old (Hannah Einbinder).

    • Hannah Einbinder (Just For Laugh’s 2019 New Face of Comedy, stand up on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”) as “Ava,” the young writer Deborah is forced to hire. 
    • Carl Clemons-Hopkins (“Hamilton” Chicago Original Cast and the upcoming “Candyman”) as “Marcus,” Deborah's trusted longtime COO.
