NBA TV’s Playoffs Coverage to Tip Off with Raptors/Nets, Wed., Aug. 19

Joel Meyers & Greg Anthony to Call Raptors/Nets, Games 2-3 on NBA TV

NBA TV will televise up to nine First Round NBA Playoff games presented by AT&T 5G, tipping off with Game 2 between the defending NBA Champion Toronto Raptors and Kyle Lowry and the Brooklyn Nets and Caris LeVert on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 1:30 p.m. ET. The network’s coverage from Orlando will continue Friday, Aug. 21, with Raptors/Nets, Game 3, at 1:30 p.m.


Joel Meyers will call the network’s first two Raptors/Nets game telecasts along with analyst Greg Anthony, and reporters Stephanie Ready (Game 2) and Rebecca Haarlow (Game 3).


NBA TV will also feature the East’s top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo facing the Orlando Magic and Aaron Gordon, Game 4, on Monday, Aug. 24, at 1:30 p.m. Meyers, Anthony and reporter Haarlow will call Bucks/Magic.


Game telecasts from Orlando will feature player and coach mics and the use of robotic cameras, including those placed above each backboard, to bring fans closer to the action. Additionally, "box-and-one" displays (with iso camera angles focused on key players alongside full-court game action), instant replays shown with live action and increased "all-access" content will be part of the innovative game presentation.


Each night’s coverage will include the Autotrader Pregame Show, American Express Halftime Report and NBA GameTime Presented by Kia postgame show.
