KEVIN HEFFERNAN (writer, actor, executive producer, director) is one fifth of the Broken Lizard Comedy Group where he co-starred and co-wrote their cult hit films such as Super Troopers, Puddle Cruiser, Club Dread, Beerfest, Broken Lizard Stands Up and Super Troopers 2 which grossed an estimated $100+ million from box office and in home viewing. He made his directorial debut on the Broken Lizard film, The Slammin’ Salmon.

Today, Heffernan is the creator, star & director of the hit comedy series, Tacoma FD on truTV with season 3 premiering September 16th. The half-hour comedy is currently in its second season and takes place in a firehouse in one of America’s rainiest cities. Light on blazes that need extinguishing, this crew keeps themselves entertained with creative competitions, friendly first responder rivalries, and bizarre emergency calls. The critically acclaimed comedy has become a top 5 show amongst all cable comedies.

Heffernan also tours the country performing stand-up. He’s released 3 stand-up specials including Fat Man Little Boy (2013) on Netflix, Below The Belt (2016) and The Potential Farewell Tour (2018) on Comedy Central.

In addition to Broken Lizard films, Heffernan co-wrote and co-starred in the film remake of The Dukes of Hazzard. He has starred in such films as Sky High, Strange Wilderness and The Babymakers. And has appeared on such TV shows as Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Goldbergs, VEEP, How I Met Your Mother and Workaholics.
