JG Quintel is the creator of Cartoon Network’s Emmy Award®-winning Regular Show which began as a pitch that combined several of the characters Quintel created while attending CalArts and was the first series to be greenlit from Cartoon Network Studios’ award-winning Artists Program in 2008. One of the studio’s longest-running series, Regular Show won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program in 2012 and has been nominated for four additional Emmys. The series also spawned Regular Show: The Movie, which premiered on Cartoon Network in 2015.

 

Prior to Regular Show, Quintel served as creative director on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack for two seasons and started at Cartoon Network as an intern for Genndy Tartakovsky’s Emmy Award®-winning Star Wars: The Clone Wars micro-series. Quintel then went on to serve as storyboard artist on the Emmy®-winning animated series Camp Lazlo.
