Hassie Harrison currently stars as the female lead in truTV’s TACOMA FD. The series debuted as 2019’s most-watched new cable comedy series premiere of the season among adults ages 18-34. Created by and also starring Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme from the Super Troopers film franchise, TACOMA FD is a half-hour comedy that follows a group of firefighters who often tackle the less dangerous aspects of the job. Season 2 of the show premiered in March 2020, in which Harrison returned as her role of ‘Lucy McConky,’ the solo female firefighter of the main group and daughter to the Chief Terry McConky (Heffernan).    

Harrison also stars in Paramount Network’s YELLOWSTONE.  The series, centered on the Dutton family’s conflict with the well-connected hedge fund manager Roarke Carter, who seeks to build an airport and city in the middle of Yellowstone, will return in November. Harrison also stars in the  film, MAX RELOAD AND THE NETHER BLASTERS, a science-fiction adventure comedy that is a throwback to the 1980’s video game culture. Also starring Kevin Smith and Greg Grunberg, the film was recently picked up for distribution by MVD Entertainment. 

Harrison first appeared in the television scene on Josh Schwartz and Stefanie Savages’ CW hit series, HART OF DIXIE, alongside Rachel Bilson, Jaimie King, Cress Williams and Scott Porter. Harrison was then cherry-picked by Savage for a part on ABC’s THE ASTRONAUTS WIVE’S CLUB, where she worked with an amazing ensemble cast that included JoAnna Garcia, Odette Annable and Zoe Boyle. Harrison also can be seen in L.A. RANGERS, directed by Dugan O’Neal, the CW’s first show on their digital platform, CW Seed.  

The independent film arena is also a passion of Harrison’s. She starred in the film, DEMENTIA, alongside Broadway legend Gene Jones and received fantastic reviews in The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times for her role as ‘Shelby Lockhart’. Harrison additionally starred in the anthology horror, SOUTHBOUND, as the comedic role of ‘Stephanie’ in FAT CAMP, and as ‘Mazie Wells’ in THE IRON ORCHARD, based on a legendary novel which tells the story of a wildcatter in the West Texas oil fields circa 1939.  

Harrison also shares many passions that reach outside of acting. She is an avid traveler, adventurist, and music enthusiast. Her desire for adventure has led her to sky-diving and scuba-diving all over the world. Harrison lives a full philanthropic life with her involvement with the Dallas Children’s Theatre, Operation Smile, The ASPCA and Saving Innocence. 

Harrison is a Texas native and currently splits her time residing between Austin and Los Angeles.
