Crazy, Not Insane

About Crazy, Not Insane

Why do we kill? Why do some of us kill, and others resist the temptation? What makes a serial killer? Dr. Dorothy Otnow Lewis, a psychiatrist who's worked with numerous serial killers, including Ted Bundy, has been looking to answer these questions for decades. Her controversial work with “multiples”, patients with Dissociative Identity Disorder, led her to develop a unified field theory of what makes a killer. Her research videotapes - which are shown here for the first time - show eerie transformations in violent individuals as they move from character to character.
