MLB on TBS's Sunday Live Game Coverage to Return for Remainder of 2021 Regular Season, Beginning June 20

Oakland A's vs. New York Yankees to be Showcased in MLB on TBS Opener

MLB on TBS weekly live game coverage will return for the remainder of the 2021 MLB regular season, beginning with a match-up between American League sluggers – the Oakland A's and Matt Olson visiting the New York Yankees and Aaron Judge Sunday, June 20, at 1 p.m. ETDon Orsillo (play-by-play) and analyst Ron Darling will provide commentary for A's/Yankees.  The TBS telecast will not be available locally in the New York market.

TBS will then showcase baseball's biggest rivalry – the Yankees and Judge vs. the Boston Red Sox and Xander Bogaerts Sunday, June 27, at 1 p.m.  Brian Anderson will be joined by Darling to call the Yankees/Red Sox telecast.

The network's upcoming live game schedule and telecast notes follow:

  • The San Diego Padres and Fernando Tatis, Jr. will visit the Philadelphia Phillies and Bryce Harper on TBS, July 4 at 1 p.m., with Orsillo and Darling on the call
  • TBS will nationally showcase one Sunday afternoon game through the remainder of the 2021 MLB regular season
  • The network will be the exclusive home of the National League throughout the 2021 MLB Postseason, from the Wild Card through the National League Championship Series
  • Beginning in 2022, MLB on TBS will air a season-long Tuesday night franchise, which will include a new studio show, weekly Tuesday night game coverage and expansive digital rights for Bleacher Report and additional WarnerMedia platforms
