HBO Documentary News Series AXIOS Continues November 14

The Emmy®-winning series AXIOS on HBO continues with a new episode SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14 (6:00-6:30 p.m. ET/PT). The sharp and insightful news-making series features thought-provoking interviews with top leaders from the worlds of politics, tech, media, science, and business. Directed and produced by Emmy® winners Matthew O’Neill and Perri Peltz, the series features Axios’ signature Smart Brevity® analysis, documentary-style reporting, and in-depth conversations on the topics and trends shaping the globe.

The series will air on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.

This week’s episode features the following segments: 

  • Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie sits down with Axios co-founder Mike Allen at his home in New Jersey to discuss his potential run in 2024, how the Republican Party can win future elections and his contentious relationship with former President Donald Trump following the January 6th Capitol attack.
  • NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg meets with Axios national political correspondent Jonathan Swan to discuss the NATO alliance’s shifting role, tensions between Russia and Ukraine, NATO’s withdrawal from Afghanistan and his thoughts on the January 6th Capitol attack. 
  • The job market – in space – is explored by Axios business reporter Hope King and space reporter Miriam Kramer. With space projected to become a trillion-dollar industry by 2030, AXIOS on HBO analyzes the future job market for those seeking to leave Earth and whether the U.S. has the workforce to fulfill it.
  • IBM CEO Arvind Krishna talks with Axios chief technology correspondent Ina Fried about quantum computing and how the advent of quantum computers will upend the world of problem solving.
